All class fees and all donations to World Dance through the World Dance Fund at the Santa Barbara Foundation support our local and international aid projects and are tax-deductible.
As the World Dance community evolves, we are clarifying our mission and taking a very careful look at the projects we support. We are choosing project partners that fit within these guidelines:
- The population is under the radar – their needs are not being addressed by other, larger donors.
- Our project partner has a very low administrative overhead, so that every dollar donated goes a long way to relieving suffering.
- The donation we provide is self-sustaining, and will help the community for the long-term.
- Our project partner keeps in regular contact with us so our donors can get to know the community we serve.
